Vessel design
For the Höegh Autoliners vessels we have rules regarding colours, lettering and the use of the Höegh flag. This is the most prominent part of the company’s branding and it is important that the rules of the graphics are observed carefully.
Areas of graphics on a Höegh Autoliners vessel
The bow will have the Höegh flag only, and not company name, placed on the white topside.
Both sides of the ship will have the company name “Höegh Autoliners” in the company typeface Helvetica Bold.
The vessel name is also painted in Helvetica Bold on the sides of the ship, near the bow.
The stern will have the name of the ship and the port of registry.
The funnel will have the white Höegh flag without outline on a Höegh blue background in a white ribbon around the funnel.
Hull colour is grey, with white top sides.

Funnel design
The funnel is painted in Höegh blue (Jotun Blue 549). The flag is painted on both sides of the funnel in white (B000, International Paint), with a white ribbon running between the two flags. An example of funnel design is described by the port and starboard side sketches below.

Hull Design
The hull of a Höegh Autoliners vessel is painted in the colours white (B000) and grey (R784) by International Paint. The company name “Höegh Autoliners” is painted in Höegh blue (Jotun Blue 549). The company name with the correct spacing is available as an outlined dxf-file for import in AutoCad. The vessel name is painted in white (B000, International Paint). The vessel name will be individually adjusted for optical correctness and readability with respect to letter spacing in each case. As the vessels all vary in size, shape and equipment, the size and placing of the company name and vessel name must be decided for each vessel. The main rule is that the company name is centered on the ship’s side and aligned vertically to the middle of the white area. For further information, contact Höegh Fleet Services Newbuilding Department.
Bow design
The company flag without lettering should be centered on the white area of the bow. Vessel design may vary. As a main rule, we suggest that the white area is divided in three and that the flag is given 1/3 of the height and centered on the white area.
